Peggy Brady Pierce

peggy-brady-piercePeggy Brady Pierce has been an enthusiastic supporter of the Catch-A-Dream Foundation since its inception. When her late husband, Bruce Brady became ill, she observed how his strength was renewed through outdoor experiences. She shared his desire to see the Catch-A-Dream Foundation provide spiritual encouragement, along with opportunities to enjoy the wonder of nature, for young people with life threatening illnesses.

Throughout their forty-five year marriage, they shared many outdoor experiences hunting and fishing together and as a family. Some of her trophies include Dall Sheep, Barren Ground Grizzly, Black Bear, Elk, Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer, and a Boone and Crocket record Pronghorn. Her chief hunting pleasure comes from hunting her favorite species, the Wild Turkey. To her credit, she has taken a Grand Slam of North American Wild Turkey in one spring using a twenty gauge shotgun.

The Brady’s fishing adventures took them to the streams of Alaska and the Rocky Mountains for trout and salmon, to the Gulf of Mexico for Marlin and other saltwater fish, and to the lakes and rivers of their native Southland. Today some of her fondest memories have not only been the adventures she shared with Bruce, but hunting and fishing with her children and grandchildren, encouraging them to see and respect what God has to offer in His wonderful creation.

A staunch conservationist, she promotes The Mississippi Wildlife Federation, The National Wild Turkey Federation, and The National Rifle Association.
