Jay Hill

Originally from Lumberton, Mississippi, the Lord moved Jay and his family to Eupora, Mississippi in 2008. There, he met his wife, Arey, and they wed in 2016. Together, they put down roots in Bellefontaine, Mississippi, where they now live with their two daughters, Olivia and Zoey.

Jay’s grandfather instilled a love for the outdoors by taking him fishing as a child. Not only did Jay begin to feel a connection to the outdoors, but he learned that being outdoors was a special place  where he could connect with the Creator. To this day, he loves spending time outdoors and cultivating God’s creation.

Jay serves his local church, Bridgeway Church in Starkville, as a sound engineer in the worship ministry, a small group leader in the men’s ministry, and a mentor in the special needs ministry.  Jay and his family travel around the south where he serves as sound engineer for his wife’s music ministry.

Jay and his wife, Arey, have a passion for advocating for the special needs community because their youngest daughter Zoey has Down Syndrome. They host yearly celebrations for World Down Syndrome Day, and they just recently helped host Starkville’s first ever Night to Shine at Bridgeway Church in partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation.

Jay enjoys hand-making leather goods, where his skills were honed at J.V. Wilson Leather Company in Bellefontaine. He also enjoys managing the land where he and his family hunt and fish together.

In 2026, the Lord blessed Jay with the opportunity to join the Catch-A-Dream Foundation as Programs Manager. As Programs Manager, Jay manages all trip planning logistics for each child trip experience.  From selecting a best fit partner to hand selecting the right Volunteer Host, Jay sets all the pieces in place to provide a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience for the children and families we serve. Jay takes great pride in serving all the families with a servant’s heart and sharing the love of Christ in every detail.
