Originally from Madison, Lindsey moved to Starkville at age 6 with her parents, Jon and Janie Harper, and her two older sisters, Haley and Sara Powell. Growing up, she always had a passion for art, including drawing, painting, and even making clay sculptures of animals.
She attended school at Starkville Academy and the Starkville School District and graduated from Starkville High School in 2016. She went on to pursue her passion for art and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a Concentration in Graphic Design.

Lindsey grew up in a strong Christian household. From an early age, she would be thrilled to attend any Vacation Bible School taking place, whether it took place at her own church or at her grandmother’s. From middle to high school, she was part of the Youth Ministry and Orchestra at First Baptist Church Starkville and served as a counselor for their own Vacation Bible School every summer.
The Lord has always been a major pillar in her life, especially when tragedy struck her in 2020. Her father, Jon, unexpectedly passed away. Lindsey always considered herself his mini-clone, and her father as her best friend, and one of the great influences that molded her into a firm believer in the Lord. Through tears and frustration, the Lord continues to heal her and she thanks Him every day for giving her a wonderful caring father.
In 2023, the Lord opened the door for her to come to Catch-A-Dream Foundation to become the new Graphic Designer and Media Specialist. Amazed by the mission and the work that CADF does for these precious children, she is ecstatic and blessed to be a part of the CADF family and ministry and serve Him through her design and technology skills.
She currently spends her leisure time on hobbies like exercising and crocheting and also loves to spend time with her family and her dogs.
