Nancy’s Vision was created in memory of Nancy Rucker Wallis, who passed away unexpectedly in April 2020. Her love of the outdoors, in particular her interest in her son Hunter’s outdoor passions and career, led naturally to the creation of Nancy’s Vision Youth Turkey Hunt. Nancy dedicated her life to a career in the medical field because of her compassion for others, especially children. Her years as a pediatric nurse created a lifelong desire to help sick children and subsequently led to the decision to donate all proceeds from this hunt to the Catch-A-Dream Foundation. The Catch-A-Dream Foundation, based in Starkville, Mississippi, grants once-in-a-lifetime hunting and fishing experiences to children 18 years old or younger who have life-threatening medical conditions.

Join us for a day of fun and sportsmanship at the inaugural Nancy’s Vision Youth Turkey Hunt on April 23. The event is open to all junior hunters age 17 and under who hold either a valid PA Junior, or Mentored, Hunting Permit and will take place at McDonnell’s Grove in Carbondale.

$15 – $25 Participants must register by April 9, 2022 to be eligible for awards. The cost is for $25 – youth hunter, $15 – youth non-hunter and $20 – adult. Tickets include lunch, plus door prizes and giveaways just for attending.
